Fun fact: It took me forever to jump into Mambo #5 because I hadn’t listened to Mambos 1-4.
I don’t know about 6, but there’s definitely a Mambo No. 8.

That’s hilarious, and I totally understand. I listened to this song 4 times this evening and finally posted it. There’s probably still a little dopamine left in the tank if I’d play it a 5th.
If anyone cares, there’s a Bob The Builder version that charted in the UK.
My 10th grade history teacher had a brother in Europe, who I think worked in music. He sent the disc to my teacher several months before it was released in the US and told him it was about to get huge. Kind of neat to see that, something I later got to experience in radio.
I think I ended up liking The Trumpet, Pt. 2 from this album more. Probably because Mambo was overplayed.
