When the recipe calls for “a bottle of soy sauce” you’re not supposed to throw in the actual bottle.
Must have mixed it up with a batch of glass noodles on accident.
I love this fried rice. So easy to make for a quick lunch. I have two left in the freezer. Do I chance the glass, or get a refund?
I’d probably check the Best By dates referenced in the article and compare them to the date on your package.
I did. They are recalled. Should I chance it.
No dude, don’t eat glass lol wtf
Get the refund. You can try making your own fried rice to replicate it in the meantime!
I don’t know enough about your finances, medical insurance, and/or pain tolerance to answer that question.
No, bring it back and get the full refund, then walk into the store to buy the exact same thing (hopefully not one of the recalled) with the money you just got back.
Love these when on sale. I guess I know why they’ll be on sale.
I was in Trader Joe’s yesterday and I think I saw a recall for a similar product for the same reason…
Yup, looks like the TJ chicken fried rice has the same manufacturer.
riso con vaso, delicious.
Did they get AI to write the recipe?
Probably too cheap to replace parts or hire enough workers at living wage.
