[UI Enhancement idea] locally interpreted time

This post got me thinking: on Discord we’ve been using “HammerTime tags” so the time in a message was being translated to everyone’s local time. Here it would, of course, necessitate everyone to set up their timezone in the settings but apart from that, I guess it could be doable too, right?

No, web browsers know what timezone your system is set to, you just render in JavaScript, client side. I’ve done it in anonymous websites with no logins.

So that’s even more doable, right?

Yeah it’s not really hard, the harder part would probably be the markdown handling

But as ```C++ exists, I guess there could be `UTC

I think they should replicate Discord’s format since it’s already popular and there are tools already made for it. They can maybe also reuse the name “hammer time” so users are aware
